  1. I would suggest that you put in lapislazuli, wine, pisco, empanadas, and something religious. You could also put in flowers to represent the famous flower clock in Valparaiso.

  2. Doesn't Chile occupy Easter Island? If so, you could put in some of those tiki looking head things in the box. I believe they are also very "Catholic" down there as well so maybe something showing religon?!

  3. The 10 items would be:

    1) Condorito magazine ( http://www.condorito.cl/ )

    2) Poems by Pablo Neruda

    3) Poems by Gabriela Mistral

    4) CD with the songs of Violeta Parra (folklorist author of "Gracias a la Vida")

    5) Small bottle of wine, Cabernet Sauvignon or Carmenere (so it can fit in the box)

    6) Chilean Flag

    7) Empanada

    8) A football shoe.

    9) A white handkerchief to dance cueca.

    10) A big warm hug (impossible to put in the box, but it would be necessary to represent my country)

  4. Wine (Concha y Toro, or Gato *****), but it would take most of the shoebox!

Empanadas, if you can get one.

Sand to represent the Atacama desert.

Ice to represent the glaciers in the South.

Fish and seafood (delicious! but not a practical suggesion)

Grapes, cherries, plums, many good fruit come from there.

    Copper artcrafts.

Yes, the moai from Pascua Island is nice!

    Lapizlazuli artcrafts.

...but maybe the wine is the easiest one.
