What would you recommend I get....?

My shoe size in the UK is 9, so in America it is suppose to be size 10, but when I was in America size 10 was too big and 9 fit comfortably, now I want to order some sneakers off of the internet from an American company, and I was wondering whether I should just get a 10 or still get a 9...I'm really confused lol...by the way I believe my feet have stopped growing, I'm 17 and they have been that size for a long time...So basically my question is do you think I should go and get the size 9 or the 10?

9. but to be on the safe side, order a 9.5 if they have it. oh and by the way, are the shoes youre going to buy the same brand as the ones you tried on? that makes a difference too. if its a different brand, then go with a 10.
