Question:

What would you recommend about my eating patterns.?

Ok so i started running again a month ago every other day, and my food intake has been weird i either eat one meal a day or two meals a day. I'm looking for advice on how many meals a day i should take and that is not very bad for you. Sometimes i don't feel hungry at all is that a good thing or a bad thing.

  1. Yep having small meals through out the day is much better.  Having larger meals causes you to eat more maybe even pig out and this can stretch your stomach as well.  Eating smaller meals will keep you full through the day and keep your metabolism from kicking into starvation mode

  3. I agree with Sam, 4-5 small meals a day is much healthier. If i were you, i would do three minimum. It's not good or bad that you don't feel hungry, you simply aren't hungry.

  4. the varied levels of food intake is not healthy and can affect your blood sugar level which can cause headaches and other symptoms. having several smaller regular meals would be better and would keep your blood sugar level stable, also planning a few days meals ahead of time will help too.sh

    When I first met a friend of mine at work she used to only eat 1 meal every other day (at was too skinny, Anaemic and suffering from all kinds of things because of it) after changing to eating smaller meals she is now at a healthy weight, no longer has to take iron tablets nor has to go for regular blood tests :-)

  5. I think it's better to have 4-5 small meals a day instead of two or three big ones, it's good for your metabolism as well =]
