I was thinking that I could get a TI-89 Titanium and it could take me through High School and help me finish college, but when I look at the products description it says that it's good for Calculus and more advanced classes. And the TI-84 description says it's great for Geometry, Algebra I and II, and Pre-Calculus, classes like that. Should I just get a TI-84 for High School and get a TI-89 when I start college, or should I just get a TI-89. Please if you have an opinion please answer this question, even if you come across it like one year after I post this.

  1. I am uncertain, but I don't think you can use the TI-89 on certain standardize tests. And the TI-84 is perfectly fine for calculus and college. In fact, I relied on a "simple" TI-83 for calculus.

  2. I would just get a TI-83 there much cheeper then the rest of the other calculators and they do everything you need them to do.I'm in pre-calculus and I have a TI-83, so I would recammend that for you.

  3. Get the 89, it's less money spent in general and less time spent going around getting the calculators but make sure it can do everything the 84 can.

  4. Get the TI-84. You can buy in four years if necessary when you are in college./
