It's for a music video I'm making, one part refers to a game of poker type card game, and there's a person with an awful hand, and life who has an amazing hand. So the person decides to 'fold' ....it makes more sense in context :P

So a bad hand is a bunch of diffrent ones right? What would that be like? 2 of spades, 4 of clubs, 7 of hearts...?

And a good hand would be... all the same? Would there be some sort of order or are some cards better than others?

I'm thinking it would be a 5 card hand, thats the most common I think.

I don't play poker much. :) So thanks

  1. The worst is if you have "nothing" i.e. not even a pair of deuces, and the best is a Royal Flush(A Flush that includes the Jack, Queen, King and Ace of that suit.)

  2. The best is a royal flush - ace, king, queen, jack, 10 all of the same suit (all diamonds, all spades, etc.)

The worst would probably be 2, 3, 4, 5, 7.  No pairs, and not a "straight" (5 in a row).  At this point it wouldn't matter which suit(s) they are, but might as well mix them up for effect.  But if it's just a super-fast shot some viewers might think these cards are a straight (i.e. not notice it's a 7 instead of a 6).  So maybe like 2, 4, 5, 8, 10 or something to make it more obvious they're not all in a row.
