To a person who is facing redundancy from his job. i am trying to choose my words very carefully, and to cheer him up in the best way I can this evening when I see him.

I don't want to say stupid things like, oh well you'll get another job etc.

i would just tell him d company underwent a huge loss n is gonna regret it very soon... meanwhile he can help out d others...
