is a good SAT II score for a student who usually gets As and a couple of B+s?

  5. I got a 1270, and I was a little disappointed as a straight A student. I would shoot for 1300-1400 at least.

  6. it's been a couple years since I took mine... is SAT II tests like the subject tests like physics, foreign language, etc? Or is SAT II's what they're calling the new SAT's?

    If it's a subject test, a good score is like 650 and up, if it's the new SATs with the reading, math, writing, then I'd say a 1900 and up out of 2400 would be a very good score.

    Good luck on whatever you do, SAT scores are only a portion of a college candidate tho... if you get A's and B+'s regularly then you should be ok in the end.

    my graduation class was the first class to take the new SATs, colleges mainly looked at reading and math still... not sure how much has changed since then.
