Need to learn where abouts your goings customs, some cultures its necessary to kiss their cheeks twice, some three times... if you kiss more or less they could be offended.

Also, learn what "combien" means.

Simply...enjoy your visit. France is one of the most beautiful countries in the world.... As to architecture, you'll find castles, cathedrals, châteaux, palaces, and other buildings all over the country, and all worth a visit!

Culturally, you will find excellent museums in several cities...

Most regions will have something local to offer gastronomically, and the geography of each area is unique and most times breathtakingly beautiful.

Both my chldren live in France, (one near Paris, the other near Switzerland) I go to see them whenever I can, and take advantage to visit something new each time!
