What would you say to your best friend if he/she out of no where and no reason said...?

"I hate you" like he/she means it out of no where for no reason?

P.S. Before you cometo conclusionss, no it did not happen to me. I'm just asking for the sake of asking like I usually do wihen I ask questions here.

Something similar to this happened to me. My friend and I were talking and she suddenly said "I don't want to be your friend anymore," I asked her "Why?" and she said "I'm annoyed with you." I took it surprisingly well for a good friend. I said, "Ok. Bye." That was three and a half years ago, and I haven't talked to her sense.

To answer your question I would say "Ok," deep breath "Why?"

After hearing her answer I would say, "Ok, I appreciate your honesty. Do you not want to be friends anymore?"

You may be suprised with my answers but they are true. I am a very exepting person. For example, my best friend said she may be moving(she might go live with her sister.) I said "Ok, just don't feel you need to stay because of me." Also, all my life my best friends have left me, by choice or move.

Me and my sisters, and friends do stuff like that, just to freak each other out, or purposely make each other mad. Even if we are feeling that way for the moment we get over it quick. Every time I get in such a mood my Bff says, "You must be on your PMS!" lol

I would say to myself.... everyone cannot love me and tell myself to get a new best friend.

In my opinion, my best friend should know me better than to let anything that was troubling them to get so out of hand, that it would take a Fruedian lip to get it out in the open?

If it was a joke, it would be in very bad taste!
