I have a tendency to slice the ball, Ive had it all my life and since Im older I probably wont change so:

What do you suggest would be the best driver to buy to if not eliminate, at least reduce my slice? I only have it with my driver, no other club.

  1. if i was you i would try to hit one of the square headed drivers

  2. Try one of the new "draw" drivers that have like a 4 degree closed face.  Cobras and the original Taylor Burner are closed up pretty good.  Or if you want to spend more get a Taylor R7 and adjust the weights to promote a draw.

  3. Alot of clubs are making "draw" versions now that are weighted to help correct a slice. The Taylor r7 draw seems pretty popular and would be a good one to check out. It's impossible to know what the "best" driver for you is without seeing your swing. I would recommend going to a good golf shop that has a hitting area so you can test a few out and get some advice from them.

  4. Happy Gilmore likes to use his hockey stick to putt.

  5. Ya the new draw drivers would definitely help you.  If money isnt a concern, I would say the Taylormade Superquad.  If money is a concern, maybe the Cobra Speed series, or Titleist 905T.  That club LOVES to go left, trust me.  I dumped that thing the second I got it once I order it.  Go to a golf shop and have them set you up on the launch monitor.  Whichever club gives you the least amount of side spin, and the best launch angle is going to be the best for you.  That is the only way to tell for sure.
