I was at a festival and one of the cameras once ponted at the big screens that were showing what the other camera was filming (hard to explain but you know what i mean.)

Assuming there was no delay, what would happen if you pointed the camera at the screen it was showing on? I can't imagine it... would you get a fractal?

Its driving me mad...please help!

  1. it doesn't neccacarily get smaller and smaller dissapearing into infinity, say you zoom  in the camera on a piece of the tv, so that the image it displays next is this zoomed image, which  is in turn zoomed in on. if there was no delay then the image would instantly turn the colour of the pixel in the centre of the zoom. if there WAS a delay, and the picture was of infinite resolution, it would act kind of like the phoenix set ( take a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Phoen...

  2. it would be like the same picture inside itself over and over infinatly getting smaller. if there is nothing around the screen being filmed it will be black.

even if there is no delay there are still refresh rates!

  3. I had a fractal once.  IT really smelled up the house.

  4. It would show whatever was seen through the lens. Whatever you were seeing that was aimed at.

  5. the same thing you get when you  put a mirror in front of another mirror.
