Italian people would never do such a thing because they them selves have a history and they don't need to stole one so as to form a nation. They are descendants of Latins.

On the contrary, there are actually some others who try to do exactly this: take a part of Greek history and make it theirs! In fact, these people are a "naughty" neighbor of Greece, FYROM, or as they like to call their country, "Macedonia".

Personally, I would feel piety for them, because that action would saw that they have no dignity or ethics at all!
