I had my LMP on August 11th-18th and I know I ovulated because my CM was stretchy....but my question is this: Is it possible to become pregnant before ovulation right after your LMP? becuase ever since my LMP I have had lots of odd things happening to me....I am extremely moody and I get hot flashes alot I feel sick when I smell food cooking and I have had high BBT what would you think if this was you? if not pregnancy then what would cause these symptoms? I don't start my next MP till September 11th so I don't know what to think? and I know it's too early too test? I also bled for a day about 2 days after my LMP after me and my fiancee' had intercourse so I dunno?

  1. You cannot get pregnant before ovulation, because sperm can't fertilize an egg that hasn't been released! However, you may have ovulated earlier that you thought, and thus you may be pregnant. Take an hpt!

  2. Did you know that if you obsess over becoming pregnant, you can actually trick your body into showing symptoms?

You can only get pregnant within 5 days prior to your ovulation & the day of ovulation itself. Sperm can only live in the female body for 5 days at the most, and that's assuming it didn't all get flushed down the toilet when you got up to pee. Just because you have EWCM doesn't mean you ovulated then. It's possible that you ovulated early. Just because you bled when you had s*x does not mean that you ovulated.... There could have still been some in there from your period, or you could have been a little too rough.

Don't get your hopes up too high until you find out from a doctor that you are indeed pregnant though. Last month, I ovulated early and we had s*x the 3 days leading up to it. About a week before my period, I was constantly throwing up, had sore nipples, tender b*****s, I was sensitive to smells, moody, emotional, tired, etc. I had all the classic symptoms, but my period arrived right on time. As soon as I realized I wasn't pregnant, my symptoms mysteriously disappeared overnight. I think I'd tricked myself into thinking I was.

  3. I bleed for the first two months with my first child so you could still be pregnant...was your last period a regular flow? and maybe you ovulated early, the 14 day thing and the calenders are just an average, not a rule. My period was august 14th through the 18th and I ovulated 3 days later, I know this for a fact because I used opk sticks.I am 9 dpo and I know it sounds silly but I know I am pregnant even though the test are all bfn...hopefully I just tested too early. I am very bloated and i'm small so it's easy to see, and it's really hard. Also I have been extremely hot even with the air conditioning on and I cannot sleep at all. I am tired and have no energy at all. Good luck to both of us, I hope we get a bfp in the next week or so.
