What would you think if, a 12 or 13 year old set up some sort of stall at the end of your street! He was selling stuff like lemonade, water and oat bars!

Would you buy anything, and what would you think?

If you wouldn't buy anything, why?

Should he have something from the council to allow him to be there or not???

Thank-you

  1. Aww, i think that's lovely.

I'd buy from him, so long as he's not the local scrote.  He's doing no harm, so i'd leave him be.

Mind you, i'm not sure if i'd consume any homemade stuff.  Only shop bought things.

  2. I would buy from him he is trying to make money and I cannot fault anybody for trying to make money and more kids need that kind of gumption . Leave him alone and let him make some money . good luck .

  3. remember doing this when I was young, i say let him do it but have an adult supervise !

worry about the concil after - its only a bit of innocent fun !

  4. I think you need to look towards your secuity, where are you going to store all you need to sell, how are you going to find the money to start with buying your goods to sell ,are you going to pay towards your site ,can you keep a record of outgoings and incomes, will you need  heat lighting seating and to cleaning up afterwards

  5. I love to see kids try to make money for themselves !!! Who would you be hurting??   When I see a lemonade stand, sometimes I dont really want lemonade so I toss a couple bucks in their bucket instead!!    Go make some money kiddo!!

  6. fair play to him for using his initative i say!!

As long as he is on his own property and not misleading people by lying, for example saying that its for charity, im sure that he is legally allowed to.

Budding entrapaneer (however you spell it lol) good on him at least he aint begging or thieving.

  7. hey young enterprise is a good thing, youngsters like this need all the encouragement they can get after all they will be the next generation running the the world

  8. Well as long as he seems like a respectful boy that is nice to his customers, then I don't think there is any problem with that. He's being active at a young age to be productive and earn money, which is a good sign. I would check out his stall and if the food seems nice and he seems nice, then yeah be all for it... i would anyways. :)

  9. yeah buy something, at least he's not being a little scally out robbing or breaking into houses.
