  1. My first impression would be to avoid you at all costs.

So yes, you would face discrimination.

  2. nothing to do with anyone else its ur choice

  3. In Israel you can see many jews with locks; they are said to be fundamentalists

  4. Don't know what you mean.

  5. They're not that unusual.  Pretty unremarkable I'd say.  And no, of course I wouldn't discriminate against you.

  6. I'd think nothing of it. I've seen plenty of people here with them.

  7. I'd be cool with it... I don't really have a problem with people and the way they look, as long as its respectful of themselves and others.

    I have pink hair, I don't judge!

  8. what are locks?

    oh, dread locks,

no, that's fine if they are kept in good condition, if not, then they look nasty, (but that goes for any hair style, just that dreadlocks are more noticable)

    why would you face discrimination?

  9. Every time I visit England there's loads of people with "locks".... I thought it seemed pretty mainstream there.

  10. Am i the only person who doesnt know what locks are? (apart from those things you use to keep a door shut, Hair or steps used to make a canal flow uphill)

  11. You mean as in dreadlocks or Jacob Marley? (Christmas Carol) not the popstar I would be cool with dreadlocks I would be cool with either but would think locks and chains would be weird.

  12. I had locks when I lived in Leeds. It's easier in the cities, when I went to visit my folks in Keighley I'd get a few stares, and if they were feeling brave someone'd say something moronic but on the whole it was easy enough, just make sure you dry them properly or you'll have astinky head ;)

  13. you mean a young person who isn't bald?  The majority of young people in england have locks.

  14. Hello,

No, I'm cool with it.Well I was your age when the Beatles appeared on the scene. Many of us wanted to grow longer hair like them and initially we were asked if we sat down to go to the bathroom, wore pink underwear and we often got sent home from school or not served in stores and restaurants. When my hair just started touching the top of my ears, my father at the dinner table looked directly at me with a sardonic mocking grin in his eyes, much like Lee Van Cleef in a spaghetti western, about to blast his victim and howl out like old Adolf about getting a hair cut... like a marine!

That said, I along with many others swore never to interfere with the next few generations of kids who would want to express themselves one way or another; besides I have enough problems and business in my life without interferring in yours or others lives.

    Cheers,

    Michael Kelly
