What would you think of a person who wears the same jacket everytime he goes outside for like 6 months?

I would have no problem with it.  Its his jacket and he can wear it if he wants to.

I could assume the person was thrifty and sensible with thier money as well as very strict with thier routine. I could also assume that the person was comfortable with themselves and thier choice of fashion and very confident. Depending on other factors I could also assume that the person was deeply insecure. I could even assume that the person was a hobo. Looking at the hair, nails, face, gait, posture, clothes and a lot of other things can give very subtle clues about a person's nature, it doesn't work 100% of the time, but it's hard to judge a book completely by its cover anyway. I hope this is what you meant by your question.

ive worn the same jacket outside almost everyday for over 3 years (except days when its too hot and i dont need it on) lol. Not everyone wants a huge wardrobe. I wear stuff till it bascially falls to bits. Then i buy new stuff to replace it. Im a girl, believe it or not!! lol

I would think that either the jacket was the person's favorite, that it was the only jacket the person owned, the jacket was at the top of the pile and was chosen for simplicity, or that the person had an unusual psychological attachment to the article of clothing.

I live in Florida, and it's very common to only have one jacket and very few sweaters or even long sleeved shirts. Also I think men get away with wearing the same things over and over more then women can. Many of my guy friends wear the same outfits all the time. And then there's tank tops, which men can rotate and wear one everyday and get away with it. I think only women notice these things, and it's only when critiquing other women.  You're safe. But if for some reason someone has a negative opinion of it, then they're just shallow a*holes whose opinions don't really matter anyway. :)

I wouldn't really notice/care anyway ~ unless it hadn't been washed within that 6 month period.

Normally, you should have one winter jacket, and one lighter jacket for spring.

Of course, I have a few more, but im older and have different jackets for different occasions. and I can afford it, because I work hard for my money.

but not everyone can. When I was in school, my parents couldnt afford to buy me 12345 jackets? I had one winter jacket, and one lighter one for spring and fall.

and it was the same for pretty much all my friends?

as long as you wash your jacket, theres nothing wrong with it

I would think that I'm starting to be a little stalkerish if I notice and remember his clothing every single time he goes out... =)

Really, though, I wouldn't think anything of it. I wear the same jacket every time I go outside Oct-March (well, or a shorter or longer time, depending on the weather).
