What would you think of a special day of the year dedicated to helping others?

Question

You could pay the toll of the car behind you, donate blood, volunteer, do all you can to help anything you can. A friend suggested it and it sounded like a nice idea. What would you do on a day like that?

In the US we have a whole week dedicated to helping others.  It's called National Volunteer Week.  You missed it this year (shame, shame!) but just so you can plan ahead:

April 19 – 25, 2009

April 18 – 24, 2010

And yes, I volunteer.  I just do it year round.
