What would you wear to a job interview?

what should be an appropriate attire for a job interview somewhere like wal-mart? please no smart answers

ALWAYS Business attire is the best way to go. If you want you can lose the jacket since its walmart but wear a nice button down shirt.

You can never go wrong with a pair of plain black dress pants and really any color button up shirt.

Smart pants/skirt and a blouse. No jeans or t-shirts.

Do not dress casually. Even though the job itself may involve manual labor and getting your hands dirty, it is best to show respect for the company and your interviewer by dressing neatly.  You don't have to dress as for a rich man's funeral, nor should you overdress. Best idea: dress as though you were an anchorperson on a local TV news program.

I agree with the black pants and a nicely pressed dress shirt.  You probably do not need to wear a suit.  Make sure your hair is presentable and easy on the makeup
