The season has worn down, our beards are shaved, the draft is coming and with it free agency. As well the hall has announced a class almost devoid of star power. Anyway the question is simple, if you could put together four offensive lines, three dlines and 2 netminders who would they be. Try to be objective, it sucks to have people just name their favorite teams players. Mine would be as follows.

Bobby Hull-Mario Lemiuex- Wayne Gretzky

I realize I cheated putting 99 on the wing but it is such as tough discussion. Lemiuex is arguably the most natrually gifted player in league history and Bobby Hull is in my opinion the greatest winger every to step on the ice.

Jaromir Jagr- Jean Beliveu- Mike Bossy

Could you imagine the talent here, Beliveu the appitomy of class and elegance, Bossy the top pure goal scorer ever and Jagr the best blend of size and skill next to Mario.

    Bobby Orr

    Ray Bourque

    Doug Harvey

    Chris Chelios

    Paul Coffey

    Jacques Plante (goalie)

    Patrick Roy (Back-up goalie)

    Martin Brodeur (third strong goalie)

  2. Forwards

    Alfredsson-Heatly-Spezza

    Crosby-Malkin-Hossa

    Nash-Kovalchuk-Ovechkin

    Zetterberg-Iginla-Datsyuk

    Defense

    Gonchar-Phaneuf

    Lidstrom-Volchenkov

    Goalies

    Osgood

    Turco

  3. Crosby Lemieux (in his prime) Malkin (when Crosby was injured) Orr and maybe Brodeur to not be bias but i think Fleury would be better (not in the finals in other playoff series)

  4. Forwards:

    Mark Messier-Steve Yzerman-Gordie Howe

    Luc Robitaille-Wayne Gretzky-Maurice Richard

    Phil Esposito-Mario Lemieux-Guy LaFleur

    Bobby Hull-Stan Mikita-Mike Bossy

    Defensemen:

    Bobby Orr-Slava Fetisov

    Doug Harvey-Vlad Konstantinov

    Ray Bourque-Nick Lidstrom

    Starting Goalie: Terry Sawchuk

    Back-up Goalie: Dominik Hasek

Added: You might want to check your stats on Harvey again.  A small thing but he only won seven Norris Trophies, compared to Orr's eight.  Therefore, Bobby Orr has the record for Norris Trophies.
