  1. i would have a serious discussion with them about why they do it and whether they are getting help.

  2. I would tell them to go see a psychiatrist. I think the only reason people do it is to get attention.

  3. I would realize that they have a serious problem.  I would feel sorry they had to deal with that problem.

  4. cut wat? lolz? there wrists?  that meens they r emo -.-"

    and if they cut class?

    err. owellz?

"xD i have no clue wat ur talkin about ^.^ srry

  5. ahmmm.. usually i think that person just don't know how to handle things. ang sometimes some teenagers do that because they think its cool. so stupid. but i have actually done that before. haha. i wrote my crush name but its very small and light. im afraid of blood. haha

  6. Dude am not sure abt which cut u r speaking but if this issue is regarding wrist cuts or something related to that then I can surely talk to him and try to understand his problem and I will surely try to help him out.. and am sure that he will come to normal position... and be as usual without commiting again those kind of stupid deeds..

  7. I would tell them they need therapy or to stop. encourage them to stop. please. I know, I used to and still have the scars to prove it. It was so dumb. Help this person.

  8. I would let a trusted adult know about it immediately so a stop could be put to it. I care about the people around me a lot...so much that I will do anything to stop them from hurting themselves.

  9. I'd do the same as everyone else above said. Ask them why they're cutting first and see if you can help. People cut because they don't know how to cope with something thats going on in their lives. Let them know that cutting isn't the only answer and remind them that you're there for them (if you want to be) if they want to talk when they're feeling down instead of doing something more destructive.

If they're telling you they're cutting, chances are, they want to stop and they're seeking your attention because they need your help. They probably won't tell you this outright though.

Since you're probably not a psychologist, try to convince them to talk to someone else of the sort that might be able to help. And if they find a good psychologist, chances are they will help.

And I'd probably keep an eye on them. Not too much, you don't want to seem like you're dwelling too much on it because it might make your friendship awkward but bring it up from time to time to make sure that they're doing alright. You don't want them to continue cutting (it seems harmless but if you cut in certain spots it can be fatal) and you don't want to spiral even more out of control.
