Pretty frightening.

Snakes can be about anywhere.  Luckily they won't go after people unless cornered, and being in a washing machine, that's pretty "cornered".

People routinely put unwanted pets down the toilet..... they think that solves a problem..... with a sewer full of rats.....a snakes favorite food.... it creates a bigger problem....

Many people are totally irresponsible.....they will go to a store...... see a cute baby chick and get it for easter.....take cute pictures of their children with the fuzzy chick......then as the chick becomes a scrawnny ugly chicken.....they want to get rid of it..... it is no longer "cute" and poops on their floor.....some kill the chicken......others take it to the country and set it "free" .....where it has zero chance of survival......but they are done with the problem

Our swamps and Everglades are being over run with unwanted pets that have no "natural" enemies here..... That cute Oscelot that looked so exotic and pretty...... the one that killed the neighbors cat......the one you took to the woods and set "free" is now stalking some child as they walk a country trail...... A dog is a "domestigated" pet.....the house cat is a domesticated pet..... but MANY of these animals are WILD......always will be wild....you can not "tame" them..... leave them in nature where they can live natural lives.....where we all can enjoy them.....

I was in Cyprus recently and came across a 5ft long black snake while taking photographs.It was a wow moment rather than a AAARGH one.In my washing machine though.....different story!
