  3. 1. Sanath Jayasuriya (Sri Lanka)

    2. Chris Gayle (West Indies)

    3. Ricky Ponting as Captain (Australia)

    4. Sachin Tendulkar (India)

    5. Shivnarine Chanderpaul (West Indies)

    6. Younis Khan (Pakistan)

    7. Brendon McCullum as Wicketkeeper (New Zealand)

    8. Stuart Broad (England)

    9. Brett Lee (Australia)

    10. Jerome Taylor (West Indies)

    11. Muttiah Muralitharan (Sri Lanka)

    12. Jimmie Anderson (England)

Jayasuriya and Gayle would both start the innings off with a bang, then Ponting would come in and steady the boat and get a partnership going. Tendulkar and Chanderpaul would then come in and do their thing leading on to Khan who would also be a solid batsman. McCullum would go mental at the end and he would be backed up with both Broad and Lee who can hold their own at the crease.

When fielding Lee and Taylor would open the bowling with vicious pace and then to be replaced with Broad and Muralitharan, Gayle and Jayasuriya would be useful for holding one end up as well as maybe collecting one or two wickets. McCullum would be a solid keeper and Ponting would be the star fielder.

Jimmie Anderson would be the twelth man as he bowls very aggresively and can also hold his own in bat, as we saw in the last test against New Zealand.

    Cheers, Ben

The top order of sehwag and hayden will destroy any bowling attack on there day, and can put up like 50 to even 70 runs in 10 overs. lol.

Then you get into that middle order, which is literally like a wall, consisting of immaculate defenses of dravid, kallis, sachin and to a lesser degree ponting. Ponting and sachin could be the agressors or play defensively according to the situation. Then you have the agressive sangarkara.

then you have the deadly pace attack of brett lee, dale styen and the really fast shaoib akthar, Then dale and brett can also swing the ball very fast, and shoaiob is hit the deck bowler with more seam movement, whilst murali will spin his magic.
