What wrestler got you interested in TNA and ROH?

For the TNA fans, what wrestler got you watching TNA? For me it was AJ Styles.

BQ: What wrestlers got you interested in ROH? And impresses you the most in the ring?

for TNA, i had many. i started watching TNA during the weekly PPVs. so it was many people, but its mostly aj styles and christopher danielson

for ROH, it was bryan danielson and austin aries

EDIT: actually, its many more than just danielson and aries. i mean, ive been a fan since it started, but danielson and aries are the ones that make me continue to watch it. i mean, i love guys like cm punk(ROH days), samoa joe, christopher daniels, delirious, eddie edwards, necro butcher. theres so many great talent in ROH

TNA: AJ Styles without a doubt. The first time I saw him it was incredible. I'm glad that the writers are moving him up from being a little b*tch to former WWE talent. To a superstar once again!

ROH: That's a tough one! There are a lot of names that impressed me. The Briscoes, CM Punk, Somoa Joe, Bryan Danielson. The list just goes on and on from there. It really is hard to choose just one.

AJ Styles & Samoa Joe for sure!  They are genius @ their craft and very entertaining to watch!  They are the only reason I tune in to watch TNA!

BQ:  Sorry...I don't know much about ROH...I have heard about it though, by alot of people!  I guess I will just have to find out for myself!

and since SHIMMER is part of ROH kinda now, i love Cheerleader Melissa, and she may very well soon, pass lita as my fav. woman wrestler of all times

Jeff Hardy & Raven the most for me.

One of my buds told me that jeff hardy is over in 'TNA' so i started watching it becuase i love jeff. And i loved it ever since even tho jeff doesn't work there anymore.

Well what got me to actually WATCH TNA was how it was being so talked about.. then why I actually decided to turn it on, it was, as you already know, always Kurt Angle who got me interested the most. I kind of missed seeing him in WWE so I thought why not see what he's up to in TNA. I kept watching for Abyss, Alex Shelly, AJ Styles, even Petey Williams as well as their Knockout divison.

As for ROH, though it's not super often I watch I would say Christopher Daniels, and Bryan Danielson are some talented guys. What got me interested in the first place was 1. one of my friends at the time telling me about just how talented Bryan Danielson and Chris  Daniels are, and 2. hearing about CM Punks, Somoa Joe's and many others' work there. Then when I met Rhett Titus, that also made me want to check some of his stuff out on ROH.

AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels are the two guys who got me interested in TNA because I never seen a fued so intense and so interesting since Taker and Kane in the WWE so when these 2 went at it to me it was a must see because there wasn't a match they had that I didn't see.

For TNA, it was AJ Styles and Alex Shelley. There quickness and wrestling skill caught my eye and i enjoyed there matches alot, I always look forward to seeing them in matches.

BQ-Thats easy. Brian Danielson. Great techincal wrestler that can give a great match everytime. I always enjoy his matches that he has.

Abyss also kept me interested in TNA. I was turned off by the fact Jeff Jarrett was World Champion, but those two kept me from turning away.

BQ: Christopher Daniels mostly, but Jimmy Jacobs captured my interest with Ring of Honor, as well as Colt Cabana.

Sorry for the late answer since i was tired for the whole day, but now i am so refreshed, so now to answer this question, i guess i started watching TNA is because i started  started to realize,  it was difference from WWE. and TNA bought they own style into wrestling  so i liked TNA for it's fast paced action

And it was the new kid in town who was trying to go  against WWE, plus  they was fighting there,  3pm time slot,  where they was fighting against daytime shows too. so anyway i guess another reason why i started watching TNA, is because, i realized  i how missed  watching WCW on monday nights

RQ: The only two wrestlers that got me interested  in watching ROH, was CM Punk and Samoa Joe, where i liked how CM Punk was playing his heel character there. but  as for Samoa Joe  i loved how he wrestle over there

TNA: It wasn't really one specific wrestler, rather I'd heard that a lot of WWE's had gone to wrestle there. I also heard that the women's division, the cruiserweight division and the tag-team division was so much better than WWE's. Some wrestlers that got my interested:

Christopher Daniels, Elix Skipper, Alex Shelley, Christian Cage and Kurt Angle.

BQ: At the time of watching WWE and TNA I craved high-flying wrestling. WWE had nothing of the kind, and TNA only had the small X-Division. Then along came Jack Evans and ROH. I was watching Youtube videos of amazing high-flying moves and his name kept appearing quite a few times. I then started watching more and more of his matches, then more ROH matches generally. It is currently my favourite wrestling promotion.

TNA; Sabu when he was in TNA,his matches and his feud with Abbys was amazing. Another wrestler who got me into it again was when Kurt Angle went to TNA. He was one of my favorite Wrestlers in WWE. AJ Styles to,some of his matches are truly Jaw Dropping.

ROH;Alex Shelley got me into it. His feuds were Amazing. His time in Generation Next amazed me as well. Brian Danielson also got me into it,he impresses me in the ring too.

Well when I first discovered it on Fox Sports Net back in 2004 it was really more just the thought about another up and coming wrestling company being shown. It was exciting seeing this new company on the rise with both familiar faces as well as new ones, like AJ Styles and the whole X-Division.

Seeing these great all these great matches really drew me in and I have been watching ever since.

BQ. Man, there were so many, I was first introduced to it a couple of years ago and I saw guys like Homicide, Low Ki and Christopher Daniels putting on amazing matches that really drew me in. As well as others such as CM Punk, Joe and Colt Cabana. Those six were the main ones that got me interested.

Well, what got me hooked on TNA at first a few years ago was the whole X-division...a couple of years ago it was just something fresh, and not one of those matches dissappointed me. this was way before the black machismo and the Dutt gimmicks..it was just X-division wrestlers letting it all fly.

BQ: What got me interested in ROH and hooked on it the first time I saw it were The Briscoes. They just look bada$$, and every match I've seen them in has been awesome. But really, it was just every match I saw the first time I saw them that got me hooked...not just one wrestler.

It wasn't really one wrestler specifically that got me interested in TNA.  I just happened upon it on Fox Sports Net on a Friday afternoon back in 2004.  I really liked the X Division and was interested in seeing some guys who I knew but hadn't seen in awhile (Raven, Jeff Jarrett, K-Kwik, etc.).  I ended up watching it until it got canceled by FSN and was very happy when Spike TV picked it up.

BQ:  Same thing goes for ROH.  It was a group of wrestlers really.  Samoa Joe, CM Punk, the Briscoe Brothers, Bryan Danielson, etc.  I wish ROH had a TV deal so I could watch it a lot more than I do.  It gets pricey having to buy PPVs & DVDs.
