What wrestler or what promotion made you a wrestling fan?

Gotta say ICW because they had wrestlers like Crusher Bloomfield, Ronnie Garvin, Roddy Piper, Randy Savage, and His brother Leaping Lanny Provo and that was back in 1980 maybe 1982 max. Women's wrestling had to be Gorgeous Women Of Wrestling but can only remember Hollywood & Vine there think that was mid 80's there.

4 me it was grand prix wrestling emile dupree was the promotor he had them all at one time and he gave alot their first shot in the ring. i would say we owe alot to him for being a pioneer in wrestling entertainment

Lol, I guess I am old like you. For me it was the AWA, then a couple a years later WWE came to my town running house shows with some of the very same wrestlers that AWA was showcasing early on. It was kind of smart how Vince did the whole switch a roo.

I was hooked on WWE when i watched the first match of The Undertaker.

my Friend showed me a match of the wee on you tube and i fell in love with it! it was triple h vs. shawn Michael's and that is how i got to love shawn Michael's and be a wwe fan!!!

Yeah for me it was mid south/UWF around 83. Got to see the bladerunners, Iceman King Parsons, Duggan, Dr. Death. It was prob my favorite promotion until being absorbed by Crockett promotions.

Team Xtreme were the reason I started watching wrestling. I've always been more interested in the Women's Division, so I was a big fan of Lita, Chyna, Luna and Madusa.
