  1. WWF in the early 90's.WCW in the Mid-90's WWE in the late 90's.

  2. WWF no Doubt

  3. WCW it was awesome. They were kicking butt in the ratings. Sting vs NWO was one of the greatest feuds of all time. Every thing about WCW was great. The wrestling, the promos, the announcing. It was exciting to watch and kept you on the edge of your seat. I wish it was still around. The crusierweight division was awesome as well.

  4. WCW 4 life.

    2 Sweeeet!

  5. MY FAVORITE AMERICAN PROMOTION WAS ECW, BUT MY FAVORITE PROMOTION OVERALL WAS NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING DURING THAT TIME.

IF THERE WAS NO ECW, THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO ATTITUDE ERA

  6. Mid-Late 90s, WCW.  Then when Austin 3:16 got hot, I switched to WWF.

  7. I was a major fan of WCW.

I also used to be into ECW as well, though I was never able to catch their shows when I was younger. WWF was third place for a long time.

  8. WCW and ECW... too bad ECW is not even recognizable anymore.

And WCW is dead and gone

  9. I couldn't get enough of WWE and WCW, both of them were awesome in the 90's.

I'll admit that at one point, I preferred WCW more, and that was during the years of around 1996-1998. After that, to me, WCW went downhill. Storylines were the same, same people were winning the titles and younger talent weren't showcased like they should have been. The WWE created new stars and a whole new Era and I loved every bit of that.

The only thing in the end that kept me watching WCW was Sting and Bret Hart's move there in 97. Besides that, WWE did it for me. I didn't get to see much of ECW, although when I watch old tapes that my uncle had, it was great wrestling and hardcore wrestling, with passionate fans.

  10. wcw 84 weeks on top or something.  nwo owned all.

  11. WCW

  12. ECW was my favorite.  Awesome wrestling action, awesome athletes, some amazing hardcore stuff.  I never cared for that Monday Night Wars garbage.  I lost a lot of respect for Vince McMahon, the WWF, Eric Bischoff, and WCW over that childish "war".  Instead of having two great companies, two great promotions, putting on great shows, we had an all-out dirty war that resulted in the destruction of one company, and the landscape of pro wrestling in the States changing for the worse.

I could always count on ECW to deliver great shows.

  13. wwf

  14. WWE

    Oh, and, they're heeeeeeeeeeeere!

  15. i emailed you why didnt you email me back wwe is bets

  16. For WCW It's more of a case of the NWO who stole the show in WCW that got the ratings.Hall and Nash had just joined WCW back in 1996 and formed the legendary NWO ( their version of the heel D-Generation X) with Hulk Hogan. These three charismatic stars along with the Horsemen, Sting and Lex Luger held WCW together.Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo's storylines and booking were the ratings winners.

WWE were in a slump and controversial storylines like the Bret vs Vince feud or DX vs Nation of Domination angle did Vince no favors, while the infamous Pillman "gun incident" with Stone Cold was a creative low.Shawn Michaels along with the other stars on the roster all gave their best by putting on a good show.So neither HBK nor any of the others can be held responsible.WCW was on an unstoppable roll with the charismatic NWO and the Four Horsemen.

It would take the formation of D-Generation X at Summerslam 1997 and later, the fallout from the infamous Montreal Screwjob at Survivor Series 1997 before WWE would get back on track and win the ratings war.

  17. WWF

  18. All Japan Pro Wrestling -- for actual wrestling.  For Entertainment only, probably ECW.

The WWE/WCW wars were interesting, though.

  19. ECW. I know I'm quoting Heyman but it was fresh and different from what WWF and WCW was doing. I liked it better than WWF and WCW at times. I was a fan of the Attitude Era only because ECW started it first with the swearing, violent, over-the-top stuff that WWF did during the Attitude Era. Some people admit it but if there was no ECW, there would be no Attitude Era
