  1. Whichever you prefer.  I'm a leftie, and used to wear my watch on my left wrist.  However, I went through a phase of wearing very large and chunky watches, which interfered when I was writing, so I started wearing my watch on my right wrist when I was about 20, and still wear it on my right.  Yes, the little hand winder is on the "wrong" side - but since I take my watch off at night, when washing up and when in the bath/shower, changing the hands twice a year isn't a problem.

  2. whatever wrist you are comfortable with?

  3. left, but it doesnt really matter, what ever is comfortable

  4. Usually the opposite hand to your dominant one.

And since when has anyone worn a watch that you wind up? Are you still driving a horse and trap??

  5. Left

the winder is on the right side of the watch so that you can easily accses it

  6. The side it feels most comfortable on.

  7. There's not a set rule. I wear mine on my left - which is more common, but I know people who wear them on their right. Just a matter of preference

  8. Which ever wrist your comfortable with, if you like your watch on your right wrist well by all means wear it on that side, if you like your watch on left wrist well by all means wear it on that side. Why would you ask a question like that?

  9. The watch, which is worn on the left-side for traditional reasons, can be worn on the right for contemporary preference, or to break traditional rules.

  10. Right handed people wear it on their left and lefties wear theirs on their right, but there are exceptions my right handed hubby wears his on his right.

  11. A watch is usually worn on the opposite side to that which you write. However, there is no "correct" side. It's a personal choice.

  12. Your left wrist. (:

  13. Supposedly on your left (this is because/why the little dial for winding up is on the right of watches...however just wear it wherever feels more comfortable!  Generally speaking this would be the hand that you do NOT write with (as leaning on the watch would be uncomfortable).

Saying this, I am right handed and wore a watch on my right hand for years, it didn't bother me!

  14. I'm right-handed and I wear mine on the right, with the face facing inwards (my inner wrist). However, I've also worn it on my left hand with the face facing outwards. I've found that it gets less damaged the second way, but I personally prefer the first way.

And I don't think that you should judge it based on where the dial is. This is a right-handed world. For example, hold a pen or pencil in your left hand and look at the logo on the utensil. Then hold it in your right hand. Notice anything strange?

  15. I wear mine on the left because I'm right handed so it stands more chance of being damaged if I wear it on the right as I use that arm more.  I understand the same applies if you are a left handed person (you wear the watch on the right)

  16. Supposedly, if you are "left handed" you wear it on your right wrist, and conversely if you were "right handed" you wear it on your left wrist.  Though these "rules" aren't very binding, I am left handed, and wear on my left wrist.

  17. I wear it on the right! LOL im right handed, i always had the feeling i was doing it wrong *continues wearing it on teh wrong hand*

  18. Left if you're right handed

    Right if you're left handed

  19. Opposite to the one you write with as it avoids it being damaged..... apparently?

  20. Left if you are right handed

Right if you are left handed

So pretty much the opposite of the hand you write with :)

  21. The one where it feels most comfortable.

  22. well im right handed and i wear mine on the right coz it's most comfy

  23. There is no "supposed to" with watches. People commonly wear them on the opposite wrist of the hand they write with.  So, if you're right handed, the watch is least in the way if you wear it on your left wrist.  Most left handed folks wear it on the right wrist.

  24. This is a free country, and I will fight to the death your right to wear your watch on whichever wrist you wish!!

  25. I looked in the " Wrist-watch Rule Book" and in chapter IV, pages 213-216, it clearly states:

Wear the watch on whichever wrist you feel most comfortable.*

*For a definition of comfortable, see Appendix 2.

  26. I don't know about 'suppose to' but I wear mine on my left because I am right handed and use that hand to put it on.

  27. depends if your right handed or left handed...You wear your watch on the opposite wrist of the hand that you use. If your right handed you wear your watch on the left and visa versa

  28. Left "by societal standard" but I don't think many would notice.

  29. To the best of my knowledge there's no 'supposed' about it. People wear their watches on the wrist that suits them. I, being right-handed, prefer it on my left where it's less likely to get in the way - such as getting caught while I'm fixing a PC.

  30. Whatevers right with you, left or right as long as you feel ok with it, what does it matter!!

  31. Definitely the left if you are following etiquette. Nowadays it doesn't matter so much so it can be up to you.
