What wrong with a computer when u plug it in and it comes on and beeps with no picture on the monitor?

When I plug it in it turns on but the power button doesn't do anything, and about every 30 seconds it beeps once but nothing comes on the monitor.

Could also be your power supply is fried. When you turn it on see if the fan on the power supply comes on. If not, then you need a new power supply.

If your power supply seems ok then could be your video card not initialising. Pull it out, clean it, put it back in and try again.

I looked at the answers that you had before I read the question again and I think these guys are on the right track. I would say also that it has to do with the power supply. Check to see if the fan is running if it is not, then you probable do need a new one. Its been a long time since I have worked on a computer. good luck to you.

If your sure that your power connections are fine they it could possibly be an issue with the memory of the system. In such a case when the system is turned on, it will beep also the monitor led light will flicker!

You may have to reseat the memory and check if its working

possible memory. also it wouldnt hurt to check the monitor. its probably not the psu if it turns. does your hard drive spin?
