What wrong with my parakeet.?

Well this past week i've noticed that lola has been sleeping alot and less active than normal..The past three day she has given a scary squawking noise..this happened like only once each day...I'ts really really loud and sound like a big parrot. Whats even stranger is that it happens usually when they are napping. So yea..I'm getting worried.

Alot of parakeets(Budgies) that arnt active is a sign of something bad. She could be sick. I'm pretty sure she is. You should take her to the vet. It also could be from the food you feed her. You should look out for these bad ingredients like:

Ethoxyquin

BHA

BHT

Those ingredients will slowly kill your parakeet. If you want them to live longer i recomend "organic pellets". Hope that helps.

That is a sign of some intrusion, annoyance or change you have made, or in the overall environment.

If there is a wet butt and diarrhea, it is a health problem, and will lead to overgrown beak as well.

Make sure there is a cuttle bone, and plenty of tasty and attractive food, with toys, and the usual daytime and covered-at-nighttime routine;  little noise if it annoys her, but they like music, and no light and commotion at odd hours.
