What wxactly is a bluetooth connection and what does it do after you establish it?

I learned that one way to get pictures from your phone on to your computer is by bluetooth. i established a connection(im pretty sure i did), so what do i do now?...

now go to send or send by blue tooth or somthin like that then you send it and except it with the computer save it and done, if that doesnt work try to send it to ur e-mail thats what i did

A bluetooth connection can be compared to what was once known as infared lights (like on the old tv remote controls)... Essentially, there's transmitter in both the computer and on whatever device you are trying to establish a connection with.  I have a bluetooth mouse, keyboard and also a phone.  Some devices will require a passcode while others will set up a generic one automatically.  If you are trying to synchronize your phone with your computer then you will either initiate the sync. feature on either devise .. and it will do the rest.  Good Luck
