probably halo 3....bioshock....assassin's creed.....call of duty 4....lol mostly shooters

Definately Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, Gears of War, and Guitar Hero/Rock Band are the top games out right now.  If music games float your boat, go for Guitar Hero 3 or Rock Band.  If shooters are your thing, Halo 3 or CoD4.  Gears of War was good, but most everyone plays Halo 3 or CoD4 now.  Personally I like halo better since I was a major Halo 2 player.

I guess you mean Xbox 360, in which case I would say Mass Effect or Bioshock. You can't go wrong there :)
