What year chevy s10 should i get?

I'm looking into a Chevrolet S10 pickup i have always liked em I'm looking at either a v 4 or a 6 what year should i get I'm on a really tight budget so my plan is to find one with a busted up body and fix it up

You could probably find a 1997-2000 in good shape with under 100K miles for less than $5K.

chevy sucks its not a very good manufacture. try to buy cars like nissan toyota or mitsubishi.

You can get a first generation as low as $500 but on average I would say $2000.  My brother got a 1996 GMC Sonoma for $1700 and Sonomas are basically the same as a S-10.
