Yes he did retire in 2002 after a fantastic career for the tigers, the only controversy the above profile is talking about was being king hit by 'libba' but that had nothing to do with his retirement, have a look at his complete career record, he was a top onballer who never wasted the footy, great skills and a good thinker on the ground.

  3. I'm a essendon supporter, Matthew Knights is pissing me off! He is meant to be teaching all the new players how to actually get better. All he does is tell them to handball and then at half time yell the c**p out of them, Although Essendon players have been making pretty bad choices at the moment. I say send Matthew Knights back to richmond.

    The coach dropped him the week before he was due to break the clubs continuous games record.

    I don't think he'll have that trouble as a coach. He probably wont last one year!
