1990-1991= CBR600F

1991-1995= CBR600F2

1995-1999= CBR600F3

1999- 2001 =CBR600F4

2001- 2006= CBR600F4i

2003- to current= CBR600RR

Honda changes their sportbikes every other year.  This year the 1000cc is  a new model, last year the 600cc was new, the year before the 1000cc was new and so on and so on.  Sportbike manufactures have to try real hard to get a leg up in the market and have to keep up with each other in terms of performance.  The 600cc cbr has better power than the biggest Honda available 10 years ago, that's how fast these bikes improve.
