What year is my Mercury outboard?

Its a Mercury 500 (50 hp) 4 cyl, and the serial number is 0B342375, I think if its not thats its 08342375

This is a 1974 model 4 cly. 50 HP.  but the SR is very close to 1973, it's hard to read the charts, but check out www.Maxrules.com.  I hope this helps. Good luck!
