  1. just get urself a new one (2008 model). They have a good resale value so even if u drop it sum1 else is gonna want it regardless of a few little scratches. plus it looks sporty which is always a plus!

  2. If its your first bike you should get a bike with an engine size of 125cc or less. Im not sure if its the law or just a precaution.

A 250 could be too large for you and wouldnt be good for starting of with

  3. it is your first bike. just get a used one in the 2000's. dont get a new one bc u will probably drop it...

  4. I definitely do NOT think a 250 is too big for you to start with. In fact, A LOT of people will tell you that you should start off with something bigger than a 250, as you may quickly "outgrow" it. Depending on what you're going to be using your ninja for, I think you should probably get any used year (or possibly an 07) that is in good working condition. I say any used year because it will be your first bike, not your only bike; you may drop or ding it, and ride it a bit "rough". If your bike will be used mostly as commuter, and you know you'll be taking care of it, look into an 08 or 09. The newer 250's look amazing and come with a warranty.

  5. first off i would get a car before a bike. second, i would not recommend getting a 250. they are good starter bikes but after a month of practice you are gonna wish you got something a little bit faster. i would recommend completing the motorcycle saftey course to increase your experiance (it's free, bike is provided) and getting either a suzuki gsx-r600, yamaha r6 or a ninja 600. dont pay too much attention to the year, i would worry about mileage and condition.
