What year was the professional ama motocross industry at it's best?

When everyone rode 2-strokes? When Jermey McGrath was king? When Ricky Carmichael won 24 motos in a row? Just give me your opinion :))

as a pro ama motocross rider i will say 2008. this year we have a lot of good pro.a lot of people step up

I would go with the near future, Without ricky this year its tough but these lites kids are the future. I would say the lites is at its best this year, it sucks that Stroupe didnt last longer, and Canard breaking his leg but these guys haul. Alessi gave it a go and showed he had speed. Stewart will have the perfect season. Europe guys are fighting it out over there.
