What years are REALLY The most important?

My guidence consular is a real *****, she told me that colleges dont care about your junior year and senior yr if you do really good. they care if you do bad for 9th and 10th.

Some colleges do look at your transcripts from the 11th & 12th grade, but some of them do look for class completion all the way from the 9th grade.

If I were you, I will contact the college that you are interested in and ask to talk to the undergrade admission department and ask them that particular question.

It is best to do well in school and keep up with your own records.

Colleges don't look much at you're 9th grade year. Others ignore it completely. Junior is looked at the most, followed by sophomore and senior. I know a kid who got a 2.25 GPA his freshman year with no honors. He went on, pulled his grades up, enrolled in honors and AP courses, etc. He was accepted into Princeton, Cornell, and NYU.

Depending on what kind of college you want to go to just do well throughout high school. Personally college is overrated anyways, there are idiots who get into decent colleges. They have to find a way to balance out the smart and the mediocre. I recently graduated from college and sometimes I wonder if I can go back and ask them if I can return my diploma for my money back for my four years attending... but that's just me. Stay in School! not true shes a dumbazz. ur most important yr if u want to get technical is kindergarten which i know is long past for you but it is. umm its all about learning the basics and if u don't learn the basics u will struggle through all your years of high school. . but to some degree i guess she/he does  have a point, if youve already made it through you jr and sr year then u  must be doing something right. but i don't know why they would pinpoint 9th and 10th that's dumb.....what about all the yrs leading up to that? and u still have to do good in 11th and 12th reguardless
