Will REY MYSTERIO win the belt from C.M. Punk at Unforgiven?

I see Batista winning or CM Punk retaining.

When Rey Mysterio won the World Heavyweight Title while on SmackDown, a lot of people hated him and wanted a different champion. Throw that in with the fact that Rey Mysterio has become injury prone over the past year or so.

I think he will. Only because he's been gone and he's had the title before.

If he doesn't win, then Batista might get the victory. Batista has been going for his title since he's back from his surgery, and he might pull this title match out of the bag.

But there's a great chance that C.M. Punk might get this one because he hasn't had the championship long enough to give it up. If he does lose it, then he's going to get a quick rematch for his title.

No, sorry.  He's just been put in there to s***w Kane out of the belt.  I see no other reason for him to be in that match.  Punk retains, I think.

I believe he can do it. It is a twenty minute match with 5 guys . if Ray were to score a pinfall and it was towards the end of the match, with his quickness yes he could avoid everyone and get the tilte. It would be interesting that he would receive it after being gone for 6 months or so. It would be interesting to see Ray have it in the match and Kane go after him and Batista get in the middle.

I am not ruling out this possibility, but it would certainly disrupt and cut off the storyline between Rey and Kane.

Remember Kane mentioned that Rey is dead and that he has been tortured until he is beyond any kind of recognition. Yet, Rey participates in Unforgiven for a title shot, and if he does win the title it would certainly only serves to add the inconsistency of WWE in the building and development of this storyline.

But I can't help to think that Rey might be given this title to really bury this storyline which might be considered as a failure and does not have the potential to go anywhere great. Thus, WWE would try to cover this up and divert the fans' attention to Rey winning the World Heavyweight Championship upon his return. But all of us would still know, no matter how much WWE tries to cover up this storyline, that WWE is inconsistent and perhaps we are seeing the decline of WWE as a dominant wrestling promotion...

I don't think so, the WWE has been setting up a storyline for Rey Mysterio and Kane to go at it, but I'm not quite sure how it'll work since, they have also been setting up Batista to come to his aid, so I'm thinking Kane "broke his spirit" (meaning he's going to be like a "zombie" and help Kane maybe or he'll be a heel for a couple of weeks) and Batista will help him come to his senses and beat the big red monster at the next or the following pay-per-view (depending on how long the WWE wants to drag it out) so that leaves the title either being retained by Punk or going to JBL.
