  2. Halifax is an interesting and cosmopolitan seaport city.  It would be easier to help you if we had a few more details, but here is the link to the Service Canada job bank.  Choose "Nova Scotia" in the drop down window, and then choose Halifax Regional Municipality and you will see that there are currently more than 1000 job vacancies in that area.  Best of luck with your plans.

  3. Hailifax, (and the surrounding environs which make up the Halifax Regional Municipality) is a wonderful mix of new and old. From its rich military history, prominence as a major seaport and melting pot of cultures from around the world, there are a great many attractions.

You could try the Canadian job bank, but there's a local website,

    http://www.novascotiajobshop.ca

which is much more current and updated almost daily. Most of the jobs listed in the Canadian job bank are in the retail sector and pay minimum wage.

The area is a good place to live, but as in all major centres, there are areas to avoid, and it is getting expensive to find good housing.

    Hope this helps.
