What you do if you were away from home and the real estate rented you already rented house to someone else?

yes rent is payed up till the 12/12/08... i have never been behind... just been out of town for about 4 months then away for another 5 week then back to find someone living there... and yes there useing some of my stuff and let myself inthe find out there story... but its not a nice spot for both parties cos they aren't to know that there is my stuff still in there... and now i have a copy of 2 conflecting rental agreements signed by this office..

  1. Maybe this Real Estate agent knew that you would be out of town for some time, and decided to make a little money on the side!! I would go to the Agent's BROKER. The guy has to be working for someone. You can't blame the "new" tenants, cos they probably didn't know what was going on, BUT I think both YOU and the other tenant should sue the pants off this agency, I say Agency, cos the Broker is responsible for any infraction that occurs!  The agent in question should have his license pulled too! And yes, get an attorney by all means, BOTH of you! I think an attorney would love to get his hands on this one!!!


  2. i think i would talk to a lawyer because it sounds like they owe you all the money you paid while the other person is living there plus for the use of your property and anything that is missing or damaged
