  1. Pioneer subs/amps SUCK BAD!!! they make a h**l of a stereo though..

  2. they are OK

they are a CEA-compliant company so that means that their amps have been tested and produce or exceed the advertised RMS wattage with minimum distortion and their subs can handle their rated RMS wattage also

so you cant go wrong with one of their amps, and their subs are middle of the pack- you can do better for subs

here are the top CEA-compliant brands

    Alpine (highly recommend)

    Bazooka (don't like their subs)

    Blaupunkt (don't like their subs)

    Clarion

    Eclipse

    Infinity (highly recommend)

    JBL

JL Audio (very good but over priced)

    Kenwood (don't like their subs)

Kicker (the best in my opinion)

    MTX (highly recommend)

    Pioneer

    Polk Audio (highly recommend)

    Rockford Fosgate (highly recommend)

    Sony (don't like their subs)

  3. pioneer subs suck! they can hit(sorda), but its all distorted. heard plenty of systems, and pioneer isnt good at all. If you want good quality sound, with some big bang, your gonna be better off Gettin kicker, jl, memphis, or rockford fosgate subs. I have a single kicker cvt and it hits harder than my friends 2 800 watt pioneers. Trust me! dont go with pioneer.

  4. imo...pioneer went down the tubes about 10-12yrs. ago.....and has never gotten better. the last subs i heard form them sound like c**p.....i'd probably do rockford fosgate over them and that ain't saying much...lol. the only thing i may consider from them is a radio.

  5. Pioneer is pritty good but it dapends on what kind u get they will last.. i would go with alpine or memphis audio or db drives (if u want bass) like i said b4
