What you think about Kimbo Slices performance against James Thompson tonight?

I saw the fight and was very disappointed in what i saw. I was infuriated by the way guys in the UFC were insulting him but now I understand what they mean. He just doesnt seem quite ready for MMA yet. He probably should have gone into boxing.

Gone into boxing? He was almost ready to pass out after fighting for 10 minutes tonight. Butterbean would knock him silly in a boxing match. Kimbo needs a lot more experience and training in MMA, or he needs to go back to beating up bums in back yards.

I'm disappointed in Elite XC, but not so much in Kimbo's performance. He did OK for a street fighter who was in way over his head.

I think the stoppage was premature, Thompson was looking a bit wobbly on his feet when the ref stepped in, but I reckon he could have recovered, Kimbo was building momentum though and it looked like he was going in for a barrage that would definitely have KO'd. I'm a Kimbo fan, I've been watching him since his bareknuckle days, I think he's a great fighter but (and even he admits this) he has a lot to learn, mostly with groundfighting, there were times in the fight where even basic BJJ techniques could have given him the upper hand, but he just lay there taking blow after blow.

I'm confident Kimbo would have won without the stoppage, it's just a shame the ref was so quick to jump in at the first sign of trouble creating all this controversy. Kimbo will go far in MMA   if he bridges the flaws in his fighting. It takes a challenge like this to show him what he needs to work on, I believe he will learn a lot between now and his next fight and come out well and truly on top.

through out the first couple round kimbo was rocking Thompson and nothing happened, in the end of the second round kimbo was unable to defend countless punch's and elbows on the ground for an extended period of time the fight should have been stopped, but when kimbo dazed Thompson just a little bit in the third round the ref. stopped it...

THE FIGHT WAS RIGGED!!!!!!    and that because i don't even know who Thompson is, I'm a kimbo fan.

Kimbo did decent for only having 2 MMA fights.....he needs more cardio....he also looked like he had learned so much new stuff from Bass that he was confused and didnt come out swinging.......but at times it looked more like the WWE then MMA

Kimbo Slice Tapped out in the first round. He tapped thompsons arm when thompson had him in a guilateen choke hold and then when thompson let up on the choke-hold,kimbo gave a thumbs up or some S**t letting the ref know he was okay...total bullsh!t.

Not impressed by kimbo's first two fights. especially the first one and not much by his beating old man tank abbott.

James Thompson was robbed.

I think James exposed Kimbo's weaknesses and proved that he has a lot to work on. Even though James is notorious for having a "glass" jaw, Kimbo never knocked him out and he didn't do very well on the ground.

I'm very disappointed in Elite XC and the referee. Terrible, terrible stoppage. In my eyes and I'm sure in other people's opinions, James Thompson won the fight via TKO in the end of the second round.
