what you think of Brazil?

you would like to live in Brazil?

I've never been there so I can't answer what I think about it. But, I tell you that ever since I was little I've been dying to go there. I've read more about Brazil than about any other country. Based on what I've seen in books, on websites and in documentaries, it is a beautiful country with lovely people, but, unfortunately, with many social problems as well. Still, visiting it is on the top of my list of the things I MUST do before I die. So, here it goes:

I would love to: see the beaches and the sand dunes of Fortaleza and Maranhao, stand on top of Corcovado mountain, stroll along Leblon beach, sunbathe on Copacabana, jet-ski in Angra dos Reis, see Oscar Niemeyer's buildings in Brasilia, put flowers on Ayrton Senna Da Silva's gravesite, watch the grand prix at Interlagos, go shopping in Sao Paulo, explore the Amazon....

Unfortunately, I will never be able to: look like Giselle Bundchen and millions of other brazilian women, marry Guga Kuerten, write like Paolo Coelho, act like Fernanda Montenegro, be wealthy enough to help impoverished children living in favelas...

Are you from Brazil, or should I say Brasil (as it's spelt there) ? If so, can you tell me if it's safe to walk the streets of Rio and Sao Paulo in daylight ?

i adore brasil.  

Beautiful people, good vibes, amazing music, the culture- samba, capoeira, forra, the food, how everyone in brasil adores that they are brasilian, the sun, the beach life, the love of football and volleyball

It is truely the only place in the world which has completely its own identity!
