So, if i can, i'm gonna paint my room. it depends on if the guy says i can or not.

but if i do, i'm thinking deepred walls(about the color as the cover of Inkheart of anyone knows it, i don't like that book much, but i like that color) and a black ceilin. my friend said she doens't like the sound od a black ceiling.

I also might paint my current furnisher deep purple, or mabye black, but i'm leaning toward purple. it's different, and i don't want to overkill black, cause my bed is black. well, i have black sheets and a red pillow and black and red blankets, i might get a purple one or something. not sure, but that'll be easy.

what do you think?

also, i'm thinking of stringing lights around, like christmas lights, for a nice touch and lighting all around, it's a mediumish sized room i guess, lots bigger than my friends rooms anyway, and have stars hangind from the ceiling. like cutouts, probally silver, like 3 of different sizes coming down. what do you think?

  1. it might be too much black... try just using the red on all the walls including the celing.  black for the curtains and beadspread.  use different lighter than the wall shades of red around the room... purple too might be too much... just mix up the shades of the two colors you like the most.

this is also pretty cool... half black half red walls, red celing

  2. What would I think of a room like that? I would think it's very dark and not very well designed.  Yeah, you may be "punk" now, but in one or two years you will have grown out of that and you'll regret those gross red and black walls.  It's going to make your room look dark, small, crowded, and cheap.  Sorry, but you asked for my opinion.  If you really like it, just do it, make yourself happy.
