What you think of cloning food?fruits, meat etc?

i think, it would make everything more affordable(cheaper). and it would give the 3rd world countries more food.

but, DO YOU THINK IT SHOULD BE SAID ON THE LABEL?

  1. Food cannot be cloned, in the first place, it is already DEAD. You can't clone food, you can only clone the food SOURCE.

    If the food source has been cloned, there is no need to mention it. There are not any dangers of cloned animals, unless the cloning process was 3rd grade and the cells got mutated.

    Besides, even if you clone the food source, it is costlier than normal growth, because it is growth charges + cloning charges.


  2. these experiments are not very dangerous but there are lots of moral issues..

    of course it should be said on the label cause we must know what we are buying and what we eat!yes the food will be cheaper but less tasty..i worry about it really..

  3. i think it should only be done if there is really no choice because who knows what risks there are.. and i think that it should be said on the label! But business people wouldn't i guess.

  4. you can't clone "food"..

    however, grafting, which is used for several fruit species, is essentially cloning, as tissues from a particular fruit plant, selected for appearance/flavour are artificially fused with another plant..
