What you think of knife crime in England? Why knife crime increese in England?

I think its extremely emphasised by the media. There is only a minorty that feel the need to carry guns or knives around with them. Being politically incorrect I feel that the crime is mainly in the areas where the residents are on benefits or low income work and they are influenced by films and American Rap Stars who cing about shooting people and stabbing them (This is true to some extent and lets ask ourselves why are these people influenecd so much? What do they have in between there ears inside their head? Answer not much). I also think that these people are terribly racist and hostile to anyone outside their 'gang' and therefore the increasing number of immigrants in the English society has lead to a small increase in this type of crime. However only the slightest increase because the immigrants aren't the ones who are out on the streets at 10pm. So I wont hear anyone argue that they are the maincause for the increase in the crime. I think it could be a viscous circle because this generation are suffering becaus ethe parnts have no grip which means the children are allowed to do as they please. The parents have no grip because they were probably the ones causing the crimes 15years ago. The teenagers causing the crimes now are likely to be the ones who have children by the time they're 16, and these children will be brought up not knowing any better.

I think to sum it up there is largely a lack of discipline among the majority of teenagers in today's society.

It's sad... so very sad, that our teenagers feel they need to 'protect' themselves by carrying knives and worse still, guns!  Have you seen the recent programmes about it on Channel 4... very interesting!

Police have no guns....thats why.....In my opinion the streets of the US are safer.

it is very sad that young people do this, i personally believe that everything in the UK has changed as ppl are more spoiled and less education day by day! And it is not because of the immigrants because they dont kill each other everyday as the English youngsters would! And the saddest things are that they do it for stupid reason like revenge, just for fun and for some personal pride gain (idiots!) and that many ppl die by accident or they just happen to be in the wrong place at a wrong time. I would definitely put more strict law into use! Generaly there are lots of primitive ppl in Britain, so nobody should be surprised really! They put normal people into shame and the whole country too!

Gun and knife cultured youth thugs, many from other countries are out of control.! One reason is total lack of parental or adult supervision and discipline.! We would see instant change from the police and government if a royal or some powerful politicial, etc became a victim, but then they are well protected by armed police aren't they. If I were running the show, I would permit all citizens, especially the helpless elderly to carry concealed weapons for protection as they do in America. I would also have special units that infiltrated and surveilled

those violent perpertrators, then I would have mandatory sentences without parole for any offender regardless of age.! A ten year old can stab someone or squeeze a trigger just like an adult.! I would make sure the thugs got the message, "  POSSESS OR USE A WEAPON...GO TO JAIL."  Bottom line.! The government, police and courts don't give a d**n about anyone but their own corrupt selves.! That's why we are rapidly declining into a mogadishu type environment and why so many of us are leaving for good.!

The statistics rise hand in hand with levels of immigration.

The media ,frightened of mentioning the ethnic origin of the assailants,portray the 27 stabbings this year as "youth crime".Though none of the assailants were white.

Time to stop burying our heads in the sand.The more we pretend this is a youth issue and misdirect resources,the more young deaths are going to continue.
