Toni Morrison--the epitome of "literacy" that she is....requires careful analytical skills--the quote may seem short and blase but she is in fact speaking to the institution of marriage being a wonderful thing--but perhaps not for her--the "idea" of marriage is beautiful, but to be successful at it, is another.  Marriage means work, and let's face it, some of us don't need to do it--especially repeat offenders.

I think its tight. Buuut....kinda not cool. Its very pessimistic.LOL I mean....sooo what...like...he likes the idea of being with one woman for his entire life bc its beautiful and loving...yeeet hes all...F that...i wouldnt do it though. LOL
