What you think the difference between American and Canadian people?

Peole form USA are closed to inmigrants, Canadiands not.

Some people fom USA are racist, the high mayority of Cnadians not.

People from USA doesn´t konw the rest of the world, some Canadians know.

People from USA want to impose their life style to the rest of the world, Canadiand not.

Canadians are more open to foreigners, people from USA are more closed.

People from the USA think they are the navel of the world, Canadians not.

People from the USA think their life style is the best of the world, Canadians not.

I say people from USA and not Americans because Americans are the habitants of all the continent, including the 3 Americas, and to say American to people from the USA is imperialist.

Is hard to say on such a small minority of people I have met but to date my reckoning is that  Canadians and also Aussies seems to come accross okay as themselves - like quietly confident - okay in their skins. My score to date with Americans is that they sell themselves more and seem more competitive but like someone said in a different post it could be an edge of misunderstanding of another culture also people could be  very different in another country.

I am from Canada, and have only traveled to the states once and it was a great experience, but i have heard that americans are mean....lots of canadaians that drive there get run off the road. i dont know if this is true or just silly rumors....but you can see the perception that may be here about usa.

oh and we dont live in igloos either!

I dont think that you can catigorize one big group of people in any way
