  1. I think he decided to start doing what he needed, instead of what everyone else needed. Selfish perhaps, but isn't the pursuit of happiness inherently selfish?

  2. I'd think that he is following his dreams.

  3. I would think that he has found a more personally rewarding career.

He was probably making good money but not feeling very motivated. A lot of people get pushed into being lawyers, doctors and so on by parents and peers. He probably felt he could do something else, something funner to him.

So now with his accumulated money, he is probably trying to achieve his true goals. As you know, it is very hard to get into the acting career. You can spend many days, weeks and months without getting any jobs. So having been a doctor has probably gained him financial backing to test the waters at what he may truly love.

Either way, education is never wasted. The more educated a person is the better he becomes at everything. Don't think too negative of him. Would you rather this man suffered on a job he might not have fully enjoyed for the rest of his life? We as human being should always have the right to choose what we think or feel that may be best for us even if we are wrong. It is part of learning and life.

    Good Luck.

  5. He engaged one seat when it was given to the needy in his education.
