  1. I have enjoyed my experiences in Brasil.  I lived there for several months, in and around Sao Paulo (Ribeirao Preto, Sao Paulo, Jacarei, Campinas).

I found the people to be warm and decent people - I have many friends that I consider family.  I love the culture:  food, music, futebol, art.  I love the scenery, from the beauty of Rio to Iguacu Falls to Campos do Jordao.

My experience is overwhelmingly positive and I look forward to returning soon.

  2. Never been there but i bet it would be nicee

  3. Firstly, I'm not from north America, I'm Irish. But I think I can give a decent answer!

I've travelled through most of the Brazilian coast and spent 3 months in the south (mostly in Florianópolis) and 3 months in the north-east (mostly in Recife but with travels elsewhere) Brazil is definitely my favourite country in the world and I will be going back again many times. I've never felt safer or around more friendlier people than in Brazil.

I made a blog about my experience in the north-east, and you can see me interview lots of Brazilians during the Carnival in Olinda. It's the second video on this page http://www.irishpolyglot.com/pt (entirely in Portuguese, with a link to the same thing in English if needed).
